Basepoint Precision Measuring
Precision Begins at the Right Starting Point
At Basepoint Precision Measuring, we believe every successful project starts with accurate information.
Whether you're renovating a home, preparing a property for market, updating construction documents, or converting legacy drawings into modern CAD files, reliable measurements and well-organized documentation provide the foundation for confident decisions.
We specialize in producing clear, accurate floor plans and technical drawings that help homeowners, contractors, architects, designers, engineers, and real estate professionals move projects forward with confidence.

Built on Precision
Deliver On-Time
Basepoint Precision Measuring was founded on a straightforward idea: deliver documentation that clients can trust.
Every project is approached with attention to detail, consistent drafting standards, and a commitment to producing drawings that are both accurate and practical. Rather than simply recreating existing information, we carefully organize, verify, and communicate it in a way that supports design, construction, permitting, marketing, and planning.
Our goal is to reduce uncertainty and eliminate unnecessary rework by providing dependable drawing packages from the very beginning.
Meet the Founder
Basepoint Precision Measuring was founded by U.S. military veteran Benjamin Phillips, a CAD and BIM professional with a background spanning architecture, engineering documentation, and technical drafting production.
Benjamin Phillips - Owner Operator
Experience & Background
He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture and brings over 10 years of CAD drafting experience across architectural, commercial, and engineering environments. His work includes architectural design support and as-built measurement surveying for retail and commercial projects, as well as multi-year experience producing detailed construction documentation for electronic security and low-voltage communication systems.
In addition to traditional CAD production, Benjamin has hands-on experience with BIM workflows and digital modeling practices, supporting the transition from field conditions and legacy drawings into coordinated digital documentation.
This cross-disciplinary background informs the approach at Basepoint: precise measurement, structured documentation, and clear, buildable drawings that support real-world decision-making.
